Why Cemeteries…?
Why do some people investigate cemeteries? Are cemeteries really haunted? Is any cemetery worth serious research time?
In this 8-minute podcast, Hollow Hill founder Fiona Broome explains why she likes cemeteries for research and team training.
To paraphrase Willie Sutton (who was speaking about banks), Fiona goes to cemeteries because that’s where the ghosts are.
Of course, ghosts are in other locations besides cemeteries.
However, many cemeteries are haunted, and they’re open to the public for research. With a little knowledge about what makes cemeteries haunted, and where the ghosts usually are, a nearby cemetery might be the very best place for you to explore ghost hunting.
Cemeteries provide us with excellent information about possible ghosts, including their names and the date each one died. That can help us support our research with historical research.
Haunted cemeteries also provide great settings for training new team members, detecting trance mediums, developing research techniques, and testing new ghost hunting equipment.
