With the long history of The Falcon, I’m not surprised if several areas in the building are haunted.

It sounds like your mom had quite an intense experience… and so did the rest of you, witnessing it.

We found a table in a secluded section near the back, off to the right from the door, if memory serves, and ordered some drinks. Very soon after this, my mom began to feel very, very ill: flu-like, even. She suddenly began telling us all these details about a barmaid who had been murdered there. Everyone thought that she was a whore, but she wasn't, and never had been. My mom could tell us everything about her, details about what she looked like, a certain outfit she'd worn, everything. Because of how horrible she felt, we left very quickly. As soon as we were outside and away from the place, she began feeling better instantly. I think that more than just the one bedroom is haunted there, or so it seems. (True story.) It is a lovely hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay in any of its rooms. Beauty (as well as ghosts) may be in the eye of the beholder, but I found nothing frightening at the Falcon... just some quirky evidence to support the ghost stories. Like many hotels, I think this one may be very happily haunted.

It was a lovely room, I had a fantastic nights sleep and I found the room lovely and warm (and I am normally cold). I live in an old house and we have a ghost and I am used to the creackings and bumps in the night but there was nothing like that in this room on the night that I stayedthere.
