Our new NH office

Jun 4th, 2008 | By Fiona Broome | Category: Fiona's notes

Hollow Hill, the ghost hunting websiteAfter touring the New England coast (and doing research) during May, our summer ‘home base’ is near downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

We’ll be here during June and July 2008, focusing on ghosts of Portsmouth, Rye, Hampton and Dover in NH, as well as spirits around Kittery, Eliot and the Berwicks in Maine.

We hope to resume weekly podcasts by mid-June.  (We’re still setting up our office.)

Our team is also expanding this website. We’re simplifying our webpage names (URLs) after a major software update. If a link isn’t working, check the sitemap linked above; those links are always current.

This summer, we’re planning research with Dr. Kevin Ross Emery, Ron Kolek of The New England Ghost Project, and author Christopher Penczak.

In July, we’re planning to revisit a chilling, haunted site in downtown Boston, with Margaret Byl of Amateur Spirit Seekers

Look for me (Fiona) at the upcoming ghost tours around New England lighthouses on August 7th. Though I generally don’t participate in public events, I’m making an exception for this tour.

We’re very excited about these opportunities for research in New England, and we look forward to sharing our discoveries and recommendations with you.

Our next projects include a free beginners’ e-course, “Introduction to Ghost Hunting,” and two books featuring how-to ghost tips as well as ghost-related stories. We’ll also be expanding Hollow Hill to include topics related to ghosts and the paranormal.

(To answer an often-asked question: We don’t have forums at Hollow Hill right now, because we aren’t able to monitor them as throughly as we’d like. Also, there are so many excellent forums in this field, we’re not sure that another one is needed.)

As always, be sure to use the Contact link (above) to ask questions and suggest topics for future articles.

Thanks for your interest in Hollow Hill, and in paranormal research.
