The photo results I have are at dusk. The cemetery is open from dawn to dusk and the local police drive through at closing.

There are two sections I noted as I did a walk-through: One with older crypts and the second is in a far corner that looks special for soldiers (Located a bit behind the crypts.) It is an interesting walk, at the very least.

I will also be visiting the Arch Hill cemetery by months end.

Arch Hill is a great cemetery. I talk about it more in my new book, Ghost Hunting in Haunted Cemeteries. There are several graves with indications of activity; the one with the hands is just one of about four plots I’d like to research when I have more time.

Generally, that cemetery is fairly quiet, and that makes it ideal for someone who’s new to ghost hunting and wants a gentle, non-scary place to explore.

However, last week I saw what I think was a full, shadow-y apparition. It was near the front of the cemetery, in the area that’s well-lit at night, on the south side of the center path. It may have been a trick of the light… but I don’t think so.

I haven’t explored the Rte 3/Tilton cemetery yet, but it’s intriguing. Were your results after dark or during the day?

I have taken several pictures during the day with nothing to note. I recognize the marker with the hands pointing up and down. In fact, I live on the other side of Arch Hill! I have visited and taken photos of the cemetery in Tilton on Route 3 with some interesting/questionable results!
