• If you’re serious about the Bell Witch, start with the original book: The Bell Witch Red Book, transcribed from the story publishedin 1893 or 1894.
• Bell Witch Central, a Yahoo! Club associated with Pat Fitzhugh’s book and website.
• “Official” Bell Witch Fansite, created by a Bell Witch enthusiast. Lots of information.

Bell Witch articles and webpages

• Obiwan’s The Bell Witch Information Page, with pages and links. At that site, be sure to read the 19-page article by Jack Cook about the Bell family members and their history. That article was particularly helpful in my own research, though our conclusions are different.
• An excerpt from the book The Infamous Bell Witch of Tennessee, providing more about Andrew Jackson’s encounters with the Bell Witch.
• See owner Chris Kirby’s photo of ectoplasm emerging from a sinkhole in the Bell Witch Cave.
• There’s also a still photo from a video which showed the ectoplasm moving ahead of the flashlight used during filming.
• The Bell Witch, summarizing the events, by author Troy Taylor at Ghosts of the Prairie. Also check his photo of a ghostly orb in the Bell Witch Cave.
• The Moonlit Road features a Bell Witch ghost story, based on an actual event. Also check their detailed history of the Bell Witch, with excellent illustrations.
