  1. Erin says:

I just wanted to correct you on one of your ghostly tales, the one pertaining to ‘Massacre Pond’, it was not Richard Stonewall, it was Richard Hunnewell. He was already in the military when the event ocured of his children being killed, he did not join to kill them, and I’m quite positively certain they killed his children to avenge the many deaths of their loved ones. Richard is a long distant relative, the first of my family’s hunnewell line that I can find for the state of Maine. It’s a sort pet peave of mine, to see the story innacurately told.

    • Fiona Broome says:

      Erin,

Thanks for the corrections. My information came from a reference book in the Nashua, NH public library. I’m glad to have the corrected information here, and I can understand it being a pet peeve. I have a few of my own!

      • Ryanne says:

I live in scarborough and would love to know more. I am not sure how much has been told but nobody in scarborough really talks about it. Do you know any books or websites I can look at? I love paranormal happenings.

        • Fiona Broome says:

Ryanne, you haven’t told me which Scarborough you live in. There are several, but I’m assuming you’re somewhere near Ontario since that’s the article you commented at.

My best advice is to attend the October 2011 conference that’s being organized in that same area. I’ll be there, as will several other people from last May’s conference, and we can answer your questions during the weekend.

          Sincerely,
          Fiona
