Skeptics and believers

Jun 13th, 2008 | By Fiona Broome | Category: Fiona's notes, Speculation and science

We can always tell when we’ve hit a nerve with one of our articles. There’s a dramatic spike in unfounded rants from skeptics. We’ve shaken their complacency.
That tells us to continue our research in that area. The more controversy, the fewer established facts or answers. There may be something useful for [...]

Jun 7th, 2008 | By Fiona Broome | Category: Featured articles, Fiona's notes

We’re preparing a report about paranormal experiences at Gilson Road Cemetery in Nashua, New Hampshire. We’d like to include stories of real encounters, as well as a profile of how haunted it is.

We hope to resume weekly [...]

Over the past three weeks, we’ve copied over 300 articles and images from our old pages to this new design. We’ve also added a few new articles, and you’ll probably find some older ones that you didn’t know existed at Hollow Hill.
This is the direction we’ll be going with Hollow Hill. We can [...]

First UFOs, next ghosts?

Dec 11th, 2007 | By Fiona Broome | Category: Fiona's notes, Speculation and science

A news story caught my attention today. There’s a movement to reclassify encounters with UFOs as “normal,” in psychiatric terms. I’m not sure how serious this movement is, but it’s worth noting.
Those of us who encounter paranormal phenomenon often preface our stories by saying, “I know how crazy this sounds, but…” I do it myself, [...]

Sep 4th, 2007 | By Fiona Broome | Category: Fiona's notes

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to Dragon*Con to say hello and attend my ghost-related panels.
I learned so much from talking with you.
One of the best comments that I heard was from the young man who suggested researching in movie theatres.
His reasoning was great: Ghosts seem to manifest more when people pay attention [...]
