A photographer contacted us on 20 Apr 2002 to report three daffodils tied to a sagging tree branch towards the back of Gilson Road Cemetery, Nashua, NH.
We visited, and he’s right about the flowers.
Why would someone do this? There are several possibilities. One is for sentimental reasons; there are many [...]
We visited Gilson Road Cemetery in June 2002, to update our team about activity there. This was during the time when Tanglewood Estates was moving in across the street from Gilson Road Cemetery.
Three of us visited the cemetery at dusk. The Gilson Road Cemetery sign had been cut off with a saw. A [...]
On the evening of 21 May 2002, Fiona visited Gilson Road Cemetery, Nashua, NH, to experiment with photographs, hoping to explain a few anomalies in some “ghost photo” class pictures.
Using a digital camera, she took just two “regular” photos after dusk. One has a clear anomaly:
no orbs same location, less than [...]
Ghost photo from
haunted Gilson Road Cemetery, Nashua, NH
Fiona’s comments: This real “ghost photo” was taken at Nashua’s Gilson Road Cemetery when we were researching ghosts and hauntings. It’s one of our favorite “What is this?” pictures.
I took this ghost photo with a $6 disposable Fuji camera. On [...]

Ignore the apparent “orbs.” It was already becoming a foggy night [...]
We have no idea what this is. It’s not exposed film or a light leak; the colored area does not extend outside the frame of the picture. The negative shows no damage, either, so it’s not a splash of chemicals or water, or some other surface effect.
Three of us [...]

This is the famous “purple streak” photo taken at Gilson Road Cemetery at about 10:30 p.m. on Friday, 5 November 1999. The picture has not been enhanced or altered in any way, except slight compression to reduce load time.
I did not see anything like this magenta streak when I was taking the photos. I [...]
The road to Gilson Road Cemetery winds through residential and rural sections of southern Nashua, New Hampshire. It seemed familiar and straightforward that night, since Alan, Jane and I had been there earlier in the day.
We parked our cars off the road, at the north end of the cemetery. I was amazed at [...]
