I have been to “blood cemetry” many times. I have often expereinced car troubles when trying to leave (wether it be day or night) I have not returned there in years, after my last experience. I used to see a tall shadowy male siloutte at the gate (at night hours only) durning the day I often felt hostility in that same area.
After doing much of my own research I had a change of thought process on Abel blood. My friends and I had heard rumors of what a wicked man he was and would go in there talking poorly of him. I believe this is what caused such hostile feelings from Mr. Blood’s spirit.
From my research I found he was un likely to have been the evil man our legends had painted him as. Well on my last visit there I decided to do something I doubt many people would do, I brought flowers To Mr. Bloods gravestone. That particuar day was very sad, because his stone was serverly damaged, due to vandels swapping his stone with a little boys stone from a nother cememery (also in nashua but I can not remember the name) The little boy’s stone had some history/legend, due to a bullet hole in the stone. Anyways I felt such a peacefulness when delivering the flower to Mr. Blood, I even spoke outloud an apology… I decided not to return, and keep my memories of the cemetry pleasant, goodness knows many before were not so!

i live about 3 miles from the cemetery. i have been there many times. once about 2 yrs ago i went there and when i left my gas gauge light came on. the needle went down to empty. so i went to the gas station and by the time i got there the needle had gone up to quarter tank. but the weird thing was ONLY the light came on. i usually had a beeping and the light that go off when i am low on gas and this was the ONLY time the beeping didnt happen.

i still go there often. i was there yesterday and pretty sad to learn that Abel Bloods headstone is not there anymore. i dont know why someone would do that. that is a part of history.

This incident isn’t silly at all. I had a similar experience there. A few friends of mine and I had stopped there to kinda investigate, kinda goof around. I had parked my car directly across the street from the front gate/ entrance. After a while we creeped each other out and went for the car. The car would not start. Tried turning it over several times to no avail. Stone dead. We all got out of the car and decided maybe we should push it a little further off so nobody would sideswipe it. We pushed about 30-50 feet away from the enterance to the cemetary. I turned the key again to leave the lights on, and the thing cranked and started like there was nothing wrong. I thought it was just coincidence, but maybe it wasn’t…

Thanks, Rich! Many anomalies at haunted sites seem to be related to electricity or electromagnetic energy.

Like the portal in the TV show, Primeval, I think the electromagnetic energy indicates an opening between the worlds, not necessarily the spirits themselves.

But, that’s just a guess.

I’m glad my car problem involved only the gas gauge, and I was able to drive away from the anomaly. Your story gave me chills.

Hi Fiona.
I know this is an old artical but I would like to comment here anyway.

My team and I are researching a possible haunted site in Sequim Washington. We have interveiwed a couple people about the site. So far we have been told by two seperate people that a car acted like it ran out of gas soon after the tank was filled. When the driver got out of the car to investigate why this happened and decided to walk to the nearest pay phone (this was long before cell phones exsisted) After a half a block his car exploded killing his two young daughters. His wife and another child did escape but she couldn’t get her other children out. Stories says that these two children still haunt this road.

There have been other incidences where weird things would happen on this roadway. Stoeies we’ve heard usualy deal with cars just dying for no reason. Like batteries dying but when tested had a full charge. running out of gas with gas still in the tank, Others say they’ve seen two little girls, but when the driver stops to see if they needed help or lost, they vanished. weird stuff like that.
My team and I have drove this road and where this is supposed to be happening, there is no homes or any other building within a couple miles. Nothing but trees on both sides.

anyway thats the info we got so far.
Your story about the gas and dashlight almost fits our investigation.
