I don't know whether you will see this Rich, being a year after your post. What you are doing is really great. and your younger members by the time they make the investigator age will probably know more then you do.. On top of that they will also have a lot more respect for the living. Humans and animals. i hope other groups take a bit of extra time to do what you do. I notice one group is having ghost hunting for kids 101. When a kid expresses a desire to learn something useful, let them. In the long run it will keep them out of trouble. Kids have dreams and goals, too. Encourage them. Don't try (or force) them to do what you want them to do. Education is necessary, yes. Their mind and life is their own. Ghost hunting is enormously educational. Look at Fiona. One brilliant gal!

We do have underage members on our team. As you said, we need parental release form which is very important. Most of our underage members 13 and under is a big help. They help with raising funds such as fundraising, rumage sales, car washes, etc. They also learn by helping us go through our evidence such as video's, EVP's, and photos. They will not be on any hunt or investigation. 14 and 17 year olds will accompany us during hunts such as cemeterys, and other public sites. Our adult members, 18+ will conduct public hunts and private home, business investigations. Each member, no matter the age is very important and a great asset to our team.
